Gary and his wife, Shari, have lived in Hayward since 1980.  They owned and operated the Anderson-Nathan Funeral Home until 1997 when they had the opportunity to make a change in lifestyle.   

Woodland Developments & Realty was started in 1999 in their home on Grindstone Lake.  In 2003, the need for an office in town prompted the development of the Woodland Court office complex, on Railroad Street next to Perkins.  Gary’s personal service to families through the funeral home and his community involvements built a reputation that has carried into his real estate career and helped to build a successful real estate business.   

Gary’s various experiences as an owner of several different businesses, work in corporate acquisitions and real estate development have given him an expertise in commercial real estate.  Whether you’re looking to sell or buy a business, home or vacation home, commercial or vacant land, Gary will work hard to make it happen.

Gary serves on the Sawyer County Development Corporation Board of Directors, the Hayward Educational Foundation Board, the Lake Country Community Foundation Board, the local Boy Scouts Troop Committee and the Keystone Holdings Group Advisory Board.  He is a member of the Wisconsin Realtors Association, National Association of Realtors and the Northwestern Wisconsin Realtors Association, Northland Area Builders Association, Grace Lutheran Church, Lions Club and the Independent Order of Oddfellows. 

Gary & Shari have two daughters, Sarah (Andy) Bailey & Nicole.
